1. How do you feel about being a Clairol nice'n easy ambassador?
I’m really excited about being the Clairol nice n’ easy ambassador. It’s a campaign that is close to my heart because it’s about empowering women by giving them confidence and making them feel good about themselves.  After all, a good hair day is a good day full stop.
2. Tell us a little bit more about your involvement in the Clairol nice n’ easy ‘Confidence to Shine’ campaign?

I’m working with Clairol nice n’ easy to help give women, especially all the mums out there, confidence boosting tips and advice. Believe me, I know how hard it can be when you become a mum to fit in some ‘me time’, but you still want to look good whether you’re on the school run or have something special coming up.  If you allow thirty minutes to colour your hair at home every six weeks it will make you feel good and look great.

3. What are your personal tips for using home hair colour?

No one wants their friends to notice they’ve coloured their hair, so my tip would be to choose a shade that works with your skin tones and stick within two or three shades from your natural colour.  Also make sure you use lashings of conditioner to seal in your colour and keep the shine. Clairol’s ColourSeal Gloss is my new favourite hair treat – it’s incredible. Hair needs pampering too! 

4. What is your favourite Clairol nice n’ easy shade for summer?

I’ve just used Clairol nice’n easy 103 – it’s given me a really natural blonde colour that isn’t brassy-looking, which is something all us blondes want to avoid.

5. What is your favourite Clairol nice n’ easy shade for winter?

Duffy has recommended that I use Clairol nice’n easy Natural Medium Golden Neutral Blonde (Shade 105G) in the winter which is two shades darker than my normal colour, tying into the colour intensity trend for this winter. 

6. Why do you enjoy using Clairol nice n’ easy and how do you feel after using it?

Clairol nice’n easy creates natural looking hair colour that’s multi tonal from root to tip. I genuinely feel more confident when my colour looks good and it’s so easy to use.

7. How does your hair feel after using Clairol nice n’ easy?

I couldn’t believe how healthy and shiny my hair looked. I felt great too, the colour was incredible and it looked so natural.

8. What is the most important thing for you when you’re colouring your hair?

When colouring my hair, it’s important that the end result looks as healthy and natural as possible, after all hair is a woman’s crowning glory. 

9. What is your everyday hair regime?

I wash my hair every day with a gentle shampoo and deep conditioning treatment that I leave in while I shower (i.e. Pantene Pro-V Repair and Protect Intensive Hair Repair Treatment). When I’m not working I stay away from blow drying and styling and prefer to towel dry my hair, just to give it a break.

10. How often do you colour your hair?

I colour my hair every couple of months, between 6-8 weeks.

11. How do you feel when your hair hasn’t been coloured for a while?

When my hair hasn’t been coloured for a while it feels as though it’s in urgent need of some TLC!
